Integrity is the quiet agreement between what we say, what we believe, and what we do.

A word coined by Michael for an old idea: truth still matters, and character is still a choice.

01 / Origin

A common name. An uncommon promise.

Michael is a common name. Nearly every variation was already taken. So instead of adding another number or borrowing someone else’s identity, he created a word for the person he intends to be.

Antiduplicity is a refusal to live two lives: one spoken and another practiced. It is a commitment to honesty when dishonesty would be easier, clarity when distortion would be useful, and accountability when excuses would be comfortable.

The standard

Truth is not a slogan. It is a pattern of choices, repeated until they become character.

    Tell the truth.

    Especially when it is inconvenient, unflattering, or costly. A comfortable fiction is still a fiction.

    Keep your word.

    Promises mean little when they survive only favorable circumstances. Follow through—or own the failure plainly.

    Let actions corroborate words.

    Reputation is what people hear. Character is what the evidence shows.

    Choose clarity over performance.

    Say what you mean without hiding behind noise, jargon, outrage, or the approval of a crowd.

    Correct the record.

    Being honest does not mean never being wrong. It means caring enough about truth to admit it and make it right.

The point

Character is what remains when convenience leaves.

Antiduplicity is not a claim of perfection. It is a direction: toward a life in which honesty is practiced, integrity is visible, and trust is earned.
